The Arc Otsego Hot Cocoa 5K Run & 1K Walk, Run & Roll
"Making life sweeter for people with developmental disabilities."
When you walk, run or roll the Arc Otsego's Hot Cocoa 5K or 1K, you are helping make life sweeter for people with developmental disabilities! Proceeds benefit The Arc Otsego's Helping Hands Fund which assists individuals with developmental disabilities and their families to seize life's opportunities and overcome life's challenges.
This year we will be bringing back our live race! You can sign up anytime between now and November 4th.
Details: The 5K course takes you through Neahwa Park, down War Memorial Drive, through the City of Oneonta, returning to end in Neahwa Park. Chip timing is provided by The Clark Sports Center. The untimed 1K Walk, Run and Roll takes place entirely within Neahwa Park. 1K participants receive an unchipped bib. All event participants receive a cup of hot cocoa. Ample parking is available in the Park and at the Oneonta City Parking Garage.
Times and costs are as follows:
1K, 9:30 a.m.
5K, 10 a.m.
5K, $20 ($25 day of event)
1K, $12 ($15 day of event)
Children under 5 free (shirt is not available)
Commemorative mugs may also be purchased for $5 each. Please refer to the registration form for more information.
Online and mail-in registration will close Wednesday October 31st. After that date please sign up on the day of the race in the park.
Register by 4 p.m. on October 17th to be guaranteed an event t-shirt.

Early packet pickup will be held at The Arc Otsego, located at 35 Academy Street in Oneonta, on November 5, 2021, from 4 to 7 p.m.
Same-day packet pick up will be held at the Oneonta Outlaws Clubhouse from 7:45 -9:15 a.m.
Mail-in registration will close Monday, November 1, 2021. Online registration will close Friday, November 5th at 9:00am.
