The Arc Otsego Hot Cocoa 5K Run & 1K Walk, Run & Roll
"Making life sweeter for people with developmental disabilities."
Enjoy a crisp fall run starting in Oneonta's beautiful Neahwa Park and celebrate post-race with a steaming cup of hot cocoa!
The Arc Otsego's Hot Cocoa 5K Run and 1K Walk, Run & Roll is a professionally-timed, family-friendly, inclusive and accessible event that promotes physical fitness while supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. All proceeds support the agency's Helping Hands Fund, which assists individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities and their families to meet unexpected challenges for which they lack the necessary financial resources. Participants celebrate post-race with a steaming cup of hot cocoa and other refreshments.
The 5K course takes you through Neahwa Park, down War Memorial Drive, through the City of Oneonta, returning to end in Neahwa Park. Chip timing is provided by The Clark Sports Center. The untimed 1K Walk, Run and Roll takes place entirely within Neahwa Park. 1K participants receive an unchipped bib. All event participants receive a cup of hot cocoa. Ample parking is available in the Park and at the Oneonta City Parking Garage.
